My Trampoline Heart – Series on Heart Room: Part 1

Hey it’s Ella. Mr. Mouse is helping us paint our Heart Room for Easter. It’s  actually a really big trampoline which sometimes is a scary forest, sometimes is a candy shop, sometimes is a lemonade stand and lots of times it’s a fort or a ship. But right now it’s our Heart Room! So LaTish and I went thrifting at “Do-Overs” in the village and found these giant splashy cushions to brighten up the place. Actually Mr. Mouse said we should get Fred (his nickname for Jesus) to help us turn-over our “do-overs” or do over our “turn-overs” or something like that! He said Fred always comes up with a new way of doing something you did the old way a thousand times but it’s still stays the old thing done but in a new way. Trying to explain this makes my eyes water.

Sam says our giant trampoline is a lot like that too. It’s always a trampoline but it can become lots of other fun things. Sam says the trampoline is like our hearts always bouncing up and down.
