Miracle at 20,000 Feet

Hey, its me, Bootie. Lizzie was asking me to hold her hand just before the plane took off which was silly because how do you save anybody if you are stuck holding their hand? By the way, Ella didn’t even know that Lizzie was weirded-out because she had her earbuds in every millisecond since we got to the airport.

So anyway, I was coming back from the stewardess lady with a snack pack for cheering up Lizzie, and so when i jumped over Lizzie to get back to my seat, I saw something crazy happening outside the window! I told Lizzie to look but she was too afraid and squeezed her eyes even tighter closed and so she missed the whole scene. So anyway, the cloud started freaking out.

First, it started shaking and jumping and twirling into wings. Then suddenly, a whole ginormous angel appeared! Just then I heard Sam, (as usual, out of nowhere) say, “Wow, Bootie, now that’s a lightshow!” So I kept looking with my face smashed up against the window at the angel cloud until it started to melt and become a plain, regular cloud again.

Lizzie and Ella missed the whole thing, of course. Lizzie was too scared to look and Ella, as usual, was in her own musical world. And now they are saying that I made the whole thing up which makes me really mad and really sad at the same time. So now we finally got here to Key West and I’m writting this whole story on the hotel pad so Sam and I will never forget it and maybe someday in a jillion years from now, Ella and Lizzie will stop texting long enough to read it.
